Dan Bergren has been around the volleyball community for years. He’s spent nine years at Asics Munciana Volleyball Club. He has won AAU National Championships as the Munciana Samurai’s assistant coach and has had a total of three final four teams as an assistant coach. Now Bergren is the head coach of the Munciana Quora. Dan is a family man who’s married to Shelly Bergren and has two daughters, Morgan and Madison Bergren who are both Munciana Alumni. His oldest daughter Morgan is a setter, who played at the University of Kentucky and is going into her second year playing professional volleyball overseas. Madison is also a setter who played at the University of Chattanooga and is going to serve in China as a teacher. Dan also trains Arabian Halters Horses. “Dan’s knowledge of the sport of volleyball is impressive!  His ability to train, develop athletes and take them to another level will enhance our team’s competitive edge.  His character combined with his volleyball proficiency makes him a great addition to our IWU Volleyball family,” said Head Coach Candace Moats
